A WOW! Rainbow

Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hi crafty friends….Michelle here sharing more fabulous colour combinations with you! Today I have a rainbow palette, WOW! style to share with you. I knew that this palette would be perfect for all of the gorgeous embossing powders that WOW! have….the possibilities are endless for it! Let’s get started, shall we.

To begin I picked a palette of 7 rainbow colours, but veered abit for the yellow and chose a gold mix instead. I cut out my palette and paintbrushes and paint tube, so they’d be ready to go. I took a small piece of paper as well as a larger one (for the stripes) and smooshed my embossing ink pad on both and then sprinkled each colour on each of the pieces of cardstock…..Pink Tutu, Say You’ll Remember Me (WOW! Trio Reputation), Chinese Lantern, Paint me Golden (WOW! Trio Reputation), Hissss (WOW! Trio Reputation), Vintage Turquoise and The Violetera.

Once each piece was heat embossed I cut out each of the paint splats and each stripe at 1/4″ wide. I adhered the paint splats to the paint palette in rainbow order and adhered the stripes to the cardbase. To highlight the Trio Reputation even more, I heat embossed 2 the tips of the brushes using Hissss and Paint me Golden and then Say You’ll Remember Me for the paint tube. I adhered these to the paintbrushes and the paint tube. For the sentiment I heat embossed it using Ebony Super Fine Detail embossing powder. I did the embossing after I had all of it adhered to the palette. I should have done it before adhering it all but I was just extra careful not to have to much heat on the palette, so as not to warp it. The paintbrushes and paint tube were then adhered to the palette and it was all added to my cardbase.
