Hi, friends! This is Nicki with another Creative Card! My favorite way to watercolor involves using clear embossing powder! Today, I will share that technique with you in my latest video for the Wow! YouTube Channel. Make sure to join me on YouTube for all the details.
First, I started with stamps and black ink. You could use embossing ink in clear for a slightly different look. I love the black contrast to the watery colors! I set up my scene using a stamp positioner, then made sure to stamp the black ink multiple times. Next, I added the clear embossing powder and heated it.
I used the embossed edge to keep the colors inside the lines on the butterfly and tree branch. For the flowers, I stamped in black ink and went with a more freestyle look. Last, I added the heat embossed sentiment to coordinate the card.
