Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Happy Christmas!! Welcome to Countdown To Christmas Day 24…I can’t believe it’s already Christmas Eve! I really hope you’ve enjoyed our Countdown to Christmas this year, and you’re filled with inspiration to take you into the new year!
For my sparkly, festive project, I’ve made a card using a few different products from Wow and Spellbinders. To make my background, I used some Simon Hurley stamping foam, which I heated on the lowest setting with my heat tool, and then pressed into an older background stamp from Wow! Embossing (which looks to be discontinued, but you could get a very similar effect with this one!). Once I had a nice impression in my foam, I inked it up with Candied Apple distress oxide and stamped onto a card panel. With the ink still wet, I added Red Glitz embossing glitter and heat set again. I looooove that festive sparkle!
Next up, I used some champagne glimmer foil from Spellbinders, and foiled one of the sentiments from the Parcel & Post glimmer hot foil plates set from Spellbinders. I die cut it, using Scrapbook.com’s Jumbo Nesting Tag dies, and cut a spare tag which I then covered in the same foil I (just using liquid glue to adhere it).
I glued the two tags together, added some black and white twine, and then adhered them to the front of my card panel, which I then added to an A2 card base using my favourite ever tape runner.
