Hello everyone, Emilie here with you today, and I’m excited to be sharing something new and inspiring for you. WOW! have just released a new collection of ultra high embossing powders and oh my they are fabulous! Let me talk you through how I decorate a canvas using ultra high embossing powders.

Decorate A Canvas Using Ultra High Embossing Powders.

I started off with a blank 5x7in canvas.
I began dragging my embossing ink pad downwards towards the centre, making sure to cover the surface with plenty of ink.
Pour over your first colour of ultra high embossing powder. Slightly tilt the canvas to encourage the powder to run towards the centre.
Begin heat embossing the powder with your heat tool. I had mine on setting 2 and began melting the powder from the back of the canvas first before moving it to the front, until all the powder was embossed. This is so no powder gets blown off and you get a smoother finish.
Once the embossing powder and canvas had cooled down, I added a second layer of embossing ink and more powder, so that the colour became darker after heat setting it.
I turned my canvas so I could began working on my second colour of ultra high powder in the same way as the first.
When it came to the middle of the canvas I wanted to create a blend between the two colours. I achieved this by lightly swiping my ink pad over the middle and then sprinkled the ultra high powders over the opposite sides to one another.
Lastly to finish decorating the canvas I glued down some pre-made paper flowers and an arrangement of butterflies that i die cut from white card.
