Seth Apter

Seth Apter is a mixed media artist, instructor, author, and designer from New York City.

He came to the world of art later in life, transitioning from a career as a psychologist to being a full-time maker. His artistic practice is based on the concepts of community and collaboration, and Seth believes in the power of art to bring people together.

His work has been shown in multiple exhibitions, he has published two books – The Pulse of Mixed Media and The Mixed-Media Artist, taught workshops online and in-person across the world, and has designed with multiple companies, developing collections including paints, inks, stamps, stencils, embossing powders, and most recently fabric.
