Dream Big With Celestial Harmony!

Hello everyone, it’s Emilie here and today I am using the Celestial Harmony Duo to create a mystical theme background and embellishments for my wooden door hanger project. Lets, dream big with Celestial Harmony!

I began by priming the door hanger with white gesso and applying it with a paint brush, this helps prepare the surface when adding other media.
Once the gesso had dried I placed a stencil on top and went over it with some texture paste, I removed the stencil and sprinkled Violet Aurora over the top, the powder will stick to the paste because of it being a wet medium. Leave the paste to dry, before heat embossing it.
Next I did some watercolouring with pigment powders, to add colour to the background.
For the top part of the hanger I used my embossing pad to apply the ink and added more of the Violet Aurora.
I then moved on to my embellishments. For this I used wooden letters and a moon and stars mould with some air-drying clay.
Once the clay embellishments were dry I primed them with white gesso. Then I inked them up with embossing ink and added Opal Glow to them. I did the same for the wooden letters too.
To adhere the embellishments to the door hanger I used an adhesive paste.
Lastly I added a focal point with some ephemera.
