Embossed Floral that brings All the Sparkle

Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hey friends….it`s Michelle with you today sharing an embossed floral card that brings all the sparkle! I used 2 of the gorgeous new Earth Sparkles from the latest release. This is definitely a colour combination that always inspires me, as it is one of my faves! Let’s get started, shall we!

Embossed Floral that Brings All the Sparkle

  1. Cover an A4 size piece of white cardstock with a sheet of double sided adhesive. Remove the backing and sprinkle on randomly Gold and Pink Earth Sparkles. Burnish the glitter with your hand to the cardstock, ensuring it is all well adhered.
  2. Run your custom glitter cardstock through a floral embossing folder in your diecutting machine.
  3. To highlight the embossed image, run a black inkpad over the raised embossed areas, being sure to use a light hand. Warning….you will get glitter on your inkpad.
  4. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over the entire piece because it isn’t drying quick enough lol and set with your heat embossing tool .
  5. Trim down the panel to 3.75×5″ or 4×5.25″…depends on how much of a border you want. Adhere your sentiment and add to an A2 cardbase.

It is so easy to create custom glitter cardstock with some simple supplies….glitter, adhesive and cardstock. The possibilities are endless and even better when the glitter is as gorgepus and sparkly like the new Earth Sparkles from WOW! Bonus points when it is good for the earth too! Thank you so much for stopping by today. I hope that I have helped to inspire you in some way and I wish you all the most wonderful and colourful day! Until next time 🙂

Hello…..my name is Michelle and I’m a Canadian girl living in the beautiful countryside of Switzerland with my Swiss husband and 2 cats. I love all things crafty, shiny and glittery! Besides my love for papercrafting, I also enjoy crocheting and making felt flowers.

My papercrafting journey began about 20 years ago when I walked into my little local stamp and scrapbooking store to make a scrapbook album for my parents’ 20th wedding anniversary. I eventually moved on to cardmaking and haven’t looked back since.
