Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hey guys, welcome back to another Exploring Embossing, and today I’ve got a great hack for you if you love the look of floral cards, but just don’t want to colour them….

For today’s card, I’ve used the new Summer Twilight Trio. The green colour (Verdant) is full of beautiful gold powder, and there is an opaque Lavender, and a gorgeous deep purple, with black accents (Blackberry). I heat embossed three separate panels of card – one with each colour – then die cut them using some beautiful floral layering dies from the Stamp Market. I die cut the heat embossed panels using the background dies, then die cut the detail out of white card, which I glued over the embossed die cuts.

Next, I die cut the Alex Syberia background die twice from Neenah Classic Crest 110lb (because it’s nice and thick, so gives good dimension), and glued them together, before adding them to my A2 card base. I arranged the florals over the top, and fixed them down with my favourite foam squares. To finish up my card, I added a sentiment from my stash – it’s from the Fab Foilers ” Love & Hugs” set, and I’d previously foiled the whole sheet using Gold Foil. The beauty of the fab foilers is that you then have several sentiments ready to go for future projects. For a quick reel showing how I foiled them, see here:
Thanks for joining me again, I’m so glad to be here exploring embossing with you!
