Foiling with Peruvian Gold Fab Foil

Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hey WOW! friends….have you seen the new release? WOW! has come out with 3 brand new and might I say, gorgeous colours of their fab foils! I ‘ve decided to use the new Peruvian Gold Fab Foil for todays project, in what I consider to be the perfect colour combination. It is a beautiful soft matte gold and goes with any colours. Keep reading to see how I did some foiling with the Peruvian Gold Fab Foil.

Foiling with Peruvian Gold Fab Foil

  1. The background die consists of 3 layers. Cut the first 2 layers from black and a soft pink cardstock.
  2. Heat up your laminator or Minc machine. Once it is heated up well, take one of the Solid Panels of the Fab Foilers and run it through your laminator or Minc machine. I didn’t get a perfectly even foiled result (because of my laminator), but I love the imperfect look of it. It gives it a bit of a distressed look to it. Once the foiled panel is cooled, cut the thrid layer from it.
  3. For the sentiment foil a small piece of the solid panel and then diecut. For the smaller sub-sentiment, cut out and foil one of the Sweet Sentiments Fab Foilers. All of this is using the same Peruvian Gold.
  4. Layer the dies on top of one another, starting with the pink on top, then black and finishing with the gold on the bottom. Center the diecut background on a white A2 cardbase. Cut out a shadow for the larger sentiment from white cardstock and then layer them together.
  5. Adhere the sentiments to the background using glue and foam adhesive.

If you haven’t seen the entire new release yet, run over now and check it out…there are so many new and gorgeous products, including the 3 new foils! Thank you so very much for stopping by today. I hope that I have helped to inspire you in some way and I wish you all the most wonderful and colourful day! Until next time 🙂
