Hey Wow fans, how are you? Today, I have a video over on our YouTube channel showing you how to make card with geometric shapes – but make them opulent! I’ve used the recently released Speckled Pearls Trio for this project, with a rich gold accent, and it really adds a little touch of luxury!
Geometric Shapes – but make them opulent!
Instructions
- Create panels of embossed cardstock by covering some card in embossing ink, adding your chosen embossing powder, and heat setting. Create one panel for each of the speckled egg, speckled turquoise, speckled sage and gold.
- Die cut several background petals out of white card stock.
- Die cut several nesting petal shapes from each of the embossed panels of card.
- Use liquid glue to add the nesting petal shapes to the white background piece – alternating the colours, to create a multi-coloured petal.
- Adhere the petals to the background panel with tape runner, overlapping slightly to reduce white space and create 3D texture.
- Stamp greeting above the die cut petals, and add gold pearls to finish.
