Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hey WOW friends….have you seen the new release? There are so many new and amazing products , including something brand new for WOW…..mixed media additives! These are as they are called, additives, that you can use in so many ways….add them to texture pastes, adhesives, other embossing powders, etc. They are so fun and really cool to use! Keep reading and I’ll show you how I used the New Harlequin MMA!
New Harlequin MMA
- Heat emboss 3 pieces of white cardstock, large enough to for your diecut background, using the Trio Speckled Pearls…..Speckled Egg, Speckled Sage and Speckled Turquoise.
- Heat emboss another piece of white cardstock by going direct to the paper with the embossing ink pad using white Bright White Embossing powder. However, before it gets heat set with the heat embossing tool, sprinkle on the Harlequin Mixed Media Additive. Be sure to heat this from below the cardstock, so as not to blow the additives around.
- Diecut the background from all 4 heat embossed pieces. Keep all the same colours together. Adhere the diecut background together, starting with white, Speckled Turquoise, Speckled Egg and Speckled Sage. Continue wth this pattern until it is all complete.
- Wth an extra piece of the heat embossed Speckled Egg, sprinkle on some of the Opaque Bright White Ultra High embossing powder, without adding embossing ink, but do not completely cover it. Over top of the ultra high, speinkle on the Harlequin MMA. Heat emboss this from below, as there is not any ink holding the powder and mma to it.
- Diecut the sentiment from the neat embossed piece and a shadow layer from black cardstock. Adhere this to the middle of the diecut background and add it to an A2 cardbase.
The new MMA’s are so fun to play with and so versatile in how they can be used. How perfect is the new Harlequin MMA with the Speckled Pearls Trio!!?! It’s like they were made for one another!
