Today’s project is a sparkly celebration of Pride—with not one, but two glittery rainbow Sparkles cards! If you love clever die cuts and a no-mess way to use loose glitter, you’re going to adore this tutorial. I’m sharing how to use double-sided adhesive to make custom rainbow embellishments with WOW! Sparkles, plus there’s a bonus card and a fun giveaway.
We’re keeping the Pride message subtle today over on WOW’s YouTube, but you’ll still find plenty of sparkle and colour to celebrate creativity, joy, and visibility in our own way. 🌈✨
Main Card – Rainbow Sparkle Glasses
- Start by covering a full panel of WOW Superior Smooth cardstock with a sheet of double-sided adhesive.
- Die cut several pairs of glasses using your chosen dies—I used two styles from an adorable die cut Bunny set that I’ve used before from Scrapbook.com. (Keep those little heart cut-outs from the centre, we’ll use them for a bonus card!)
- Carefully peel away the adhesive backing from each die cut and dip into your selected rainbow of Sparkles. I used a mix of WOW! Sparkles in a Rainbow of colours (linked below).
- Once coated, use your fingertip to firmly burnish the glitter onto each piece—this helps prevent fallout later. Shake or brush away the excess.
- Arrange your rainbow glasses in offset rows across an A2 card panel. Let the glasses go off the edge—it makes the final design feel full and playful!
- Once you’re happy with the layout, adhere them using glue, then trim the excess around the edges. Use any offcuts to fill in gaps along the opposite side.
- For the sentiment: Adhere white cardstock to double-sided foam adhesive and die cut a bold sentiment using your favourite alpha dies.
- Mount your sentiment onto a torn-edge piece of vellum for texture, then use dots of glue hidden behind the letters to attach it to the card.
- Stamp a sub-sentiment on white cardstock, trim into a strip, and mount with foam squares.
- Finish with a scattering of clear heart embellishments around the sentiment for added sparkle.

Bonus Card – Rainbow Hearts Love On a Line
Don’t toss those heart die cuts! Here’s a bonus design using the leftovers:
- Dip each heart into your rainbow Sparkles to match the glasses from the first card.
- Using a ruler for precision, line the hearts up horizontally across an A2 white cardstock panel.
- Stamp a mixed-font sentiment in black ink underneath the line of hearts.
- Use a black fineliner and ruler to draw a thin border around the whole card and add lines framing the hearts—like a little love display!
Simple, sweet, and still packed with Pride.
