This brand-new Designer collaboration features four richly textured, earthy-toned embossing powders that reflect Seth’s signature mixed media aesthetic. Whether you’re into vintage layers, grungy textures or industrial tones, the Heritage Quad adds bold, dimensional detail to any make.

Layered, Textured Leaves
- Prepare your embossed swatches – Start by embossing large swatches of each powder from the Heritage Quad—this gives you a full, rich surface to die cut from later. You can see these swatches being made in the linked intro video.
- Die cut your elements – Using two different leaf die sets, cut several leaves from your embossed swatches. Also cut a few from: Vellum (for contrast and softness) White cardstock topped with double-sided adhesive, then cover these with Sparkles and/or Earth Sparkles for extra texture and shine.
- Create your layered embellishments – Layer your die cuts together to create dimensional leaf clusters. Try mixing embossed leaves with vellum and sparkle-covered elements to vary the textures. Once you’re happy with the arrangement, glue each layer near the base and press together gently until secure. You should end up with six layered clusters — set aside three for another card!
- Stamp a subtle background – Take an A2 panel of Neenah 80lb cardstock and place it in your MISTI. Use abstract swipe stamps (from a large Altenew set, if you have one) to add soft background interest.
- Stamp using Hero Arts Contour Ink — it’s a great neutral shade that won’t overpower your focal point. Triple stamp for added intensity, and swap out the stamps to vary the shapes.
- Arrange and stamp your sentiment – Lay three of your leaf clusters onto the background panel and adjust until you like the composition. Once happy, leave the clusters in place as a guide and stamp your sentiments in black ink where they’ll nestle into the design.
- Assemble your card – Adhere your leaf clusters directly to the background — no foam tape needed this time, as the layers already give you plenty of depth and dimension. Mount the finished panel onto a card base to complete your project.
