What is Melt-It?
Melt-It powder is a unique product in the crafting world. It's designed to be used with embossing powders to create three-dimensional, solid pieces. Crafters can use Melt-It powder in silicone moulds to create embellishments, jewellery, or other decorative elements. When heated, Melt-It powder melts and becomes a liquid, allowing it to take the shape of the mould. Once cooled, it solidifies into a durable and versatile piece. It's a fantastic tool for adding dimension and texture to your crafting projects.
Can I use Melt-It for embossing?
It would melt, but it will give a very flat effect. It would probably give a better result on one of our background design stamps.
How much powder should I add to Melt-It?
On average, one teaspoon of Melt -It would have 1/8th of a teaspoon of powder. You can vary this depending on the depth of colour you require, i.e. If it's a translucent the less you put in, the more glassy it will look. It's definitely down to preference and exploring to see what you like for each application. Don't forget, you can always add more but you can't take any back if you add too much!
Can the glitter powders be used in a melt pot with our Melt-It powder?
Absolutely, all our powders can be used in a melt pot and our very own WOW! Foil Cases
