A clean and simple take on mixed media with Wow Embossing mixed media Additives

Hey everyone! How are you? It’s Jayne here, and today, I’ve got a clean and simple take on mixed media with Wow Embossing mixed media additives!

Today, I’ll be using the new Harlequin mixed media additive to add texture and interest to this CAS birthday card.

A clean and simple take on mixed media: a Birthday card with Wow Embossing Mixed Media Additives

Instructions

Ink blend a balloon onto an A2 piece of white card using blue-green inks – I used salvaged patina, peacock feathers and faded jeans distress oxides.
Leaving the stencil in place, add Glossy Accents to the top of the balloon. Using a stencil tool to scrape the Glossy Accents over the balloon.
Carefully remove the stencil, and while the Glossy Accents is still wet, sprinkle over the Harlequin MMA.
Once dry, stamp the word “Happy” toward the bottom left of the balloon using Staz-On ink. Then stamp the word “birthday” over the top.
Draw in the balloon string using a fine liner.
Trim 1/2″ from the bottom of the panel.
Cut a 1″ tall piece of black and white patterned paper and adhere to the reverse of the panel, so the bottom 1/2″ is showing beneath the white card. Trim any excess.
Add some enamel dots to the panel.
Add the finished card panel to an A2 note card.
