Hi! It’s Laura here on the blog today and I have a fun card making tutorial showing how you can add colour using an embossing pen!
Step by Step guide to using an embossing pen:
- Stamp your images using black ink – I used VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink. Allow it time to dry or gently heat set on setting one.
- Use an anti static powder bag to remove any grease from your fingers and any moisture from the ink if it isn’t quite dry.
- Use the embossing pen to selectively colour areas of your stamped image.
- Add embossing powder and then tap off the excess. You can heat set one area at a time, or colour the whole image with different powders and then heat set at the end.
- Always heat set from underneath to avoid blowing the powder off your image or losing any chunkier bits.
