Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Have you seen Seth Apter’s BRAND NEW Traces of Time Collection? There are two new Duos and a new Trio too! The Original version of this card was made with the Stonewashed Duo, but I just had to try re-creating it using a couple of the colours from the Baked Clay Trio and I LOVE the results! Christine xxx
Step By Step Tutorial
- Take a piece of 10 x 13 cm white card, and ink blend through the Polkadoodles Joy Text stencil with an ink blending brush and the new Wow Ultimate Embossing Ink, keep the ink in a faded off fashion rather than covering the entire panel.
- Shake the pot, then add on your Weathered Rose embossing powder, tipping off the excess.
- To add some extra interest to this panel, sprinkle on a few areas of Vegas Gold Ultra High Embossing Powder from the previously released Million Dollar Duo, the heat set the panel on low from underneath.
- Die-cut your Sparkling snowflakes from white card and use the Weathered Rose powder to heat emboss the dainty snowflake, using your brayer to apply the ink. Repeat to give two layers on this die-cut.
- Use your brayer to add ink to the chunkier snowflake and add on the Dusty Blush Embossing Powder. You’ll also want to die-cut another dainty snowflake from gold card (to match the Vegas gold powder).
- Layer up your snowflakes onto your panel and staple them into position, then add your sentiment, I used a vintage DYMO labeller for mine, but a Wordie or stamped sentiment would look fab too, and add glue and a staple to attach this.
- Finally add your panel to your top folding 10.5 cm x 13.5 cm white card blank and finish with some clear dome gems.
