Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hello everyone, it’s Emilie here. Today I have a Easter card that showcases how you can colour with WOW embossing powder. This is a great way to add some texture to your images and of course colour!
Colour with wow embossing powder.
IMAGES
I stamped my images with black ink onto white cardstock. I then added WOWs clear gloss embossing powder and heat set it with WOWs dual tool on setting 2.
COLOUR WITH EMBOSSING POWDER
To colour my images, I used WOWs embossing pen and the twist and shout trio. With the pen I coloured each section that I wanted to add Orange Twist to, I poured over the powder tapped off the excess then heat set it on setting 1. I repeated with Lemon Twist and lastly Lime Twist.
DIE CUTTING
I die cut out letters from black cardstock to make the words Happy Easter. I then inked them up with my embossing ink pad and used alternate colours of Lime Twist and Lemon Twist. I die cut out the bunny and fussy cut out the eggs, I also added some extra colour with my pro markers.
BACKGROUND
For this background I got my ink sprays and splattered them with a fan brush. I then added all the elements to the background raising them up with foam squares to give some dimension.
