Hello WOW! Friends, and welcome back to another Embossing Elegance card. Today I am happy to share this layered birthday card with so many lovely embossed details
All of the layers and bits and pieces of this cake stamp and die set had my heart singing. I think it is so fun and festive! I began by stamping the inked images, and then heat embossed those cake layers. The polka dots on the yellow layer is WOW! Opaque White embossing powder.
Then I inked with WOW! Embossing ink, and used Super Fine Metallic Silver and Gold embossing powders for the cake ruffles and cake stand. Also, I stamped and embossed the sentiment with the Super Fine Gold embossing powder, die cut, and trimmed it.
I created the background by stamping the large floral with WOW! Embossing Ink, and then heat set White Embossing Powder. Next, I ink-blended over with a soft green ink, and splattered with the ink as well.
Finally, I layered everything and added dimension with foam tape on the background and card base before finishing with sequins.
