Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hey friends, how are you? Today, I’m sharing a slightly different project for me – gift tags! I love seeing other people’s tags on Instagram but never remember to make any myself, so for this instalment of Exploring Embossing I’ve made a set of tags with heat embossed backgrounds.
I’ve used the new Timeless Trio from Funky Fossil. I first die cut some tags using my Decorative Tag set from Scrapbook.com. I then applied Tarnished Treasure and Copper Mine to my tags and heat set.
I stamped, coloured and fussy cut two of the mermaids from MFT’s Bubbly Birthday stamp set, and added them to the tags with foam squares. I then stamped out the sentiments, trimmed them down to thin strips, then added them to the tags with foam squares.
To finish my tags. I die cut the little hole reinforcer from black card, and glued it around the hole, before adding some black and white twine.
