Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hello Lovelies! It’s Aditi here and I’m back with another Mixed Media Project for you’ll! Today, I’m not going Off The Page exactly. I’m creating two mixed media style Holiday Cards, showing you how to use embossing powders to create stunning backgrounds.
Here’s a slideshow of the Cards:
I’m showcasing a simple way of using stencils and stamps to create backgrounds. For the first card, I create a simple heat embossed polka dot background using With an Olive Embossing Powder. I bring back the element of circles on the focal point by stamping snowflakes and embossing them with Diana’s Love onto the circles. For the second card, I use a sentiment stamp to create a resist effect background, and make another embossed sentiment the focal point. I’ve used On the Lake for this. These are simple yet effective technique in creating layers, and giving the cards a mixed media look.
