Hello WOW! Friends, and welcome to another Embossing Elegance card. Today I’ve got a lovely faux stitched notecard featuring the new Super Fine Polished Silver embossing powder .

I began by die cutting all of the florals, and pieced them back into the negative die cut space (as a jig for easy, repeat stamp positioning). I ink stamped all of the florals in the MISTI, and then hand stamped the faux stitching with WOW! Embossing ink before adding the Super Fine Polished Silver powder and heat embossing.

Next I die cut both of the hello sentiment pieces, and softly inked the background die cut. Then I heat embossed the fine cut hello sentiment with the Super Fine Polished Silver powder.

After die cutting the notecard, I stamped the front with the large cling stamp and embossing ink. For this background, I used WOW! Opaque white embossing powder, and heat embossed it for a subtle, elegant texture.

Finally, I layered everything with foam tape for dimension onto the notecard base, and added a few silver half-round beads.
What do you think? I love this faux effect, and it’s much faster than stitching. Thanks so much for joining me today. Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
