Fine Embossed Detailing

I started with stamping a full swirly leaves background stamp in the Verdant embossing powder. It gives it a beautiful focal point.

I die cut some flowers and leaves next. I used a solid ink image on the florals and leaves to start with. After all the die cuts were fully dried. I took my wow embossing pad to stamp in the inner floral design and inner leaf designs. Sprinkled on the embossing powder and heat set it.

After the images were thoroughly dried. I wanted to share a real time moment when you miss a spot while stamping with the embossing ink. What can be done in this situation? I used my Wow Embossing Pen to help with this. I wanted more of the darkest sprinkles in the Blackberry mix in the center of the flowers. I took the embossing pen and highlighted the areas I wanted more powder to accent. This embossing pen is great to also fix areas that were missed in stamping with the embossing ink pad. I was able to touch up the inner parts of the leaves with the embossing pen and reapplied the Verdant powder.

I really love this new technique to me and how handy the embossing pen is in more fine areas! It really gave me so much focused detail on the florals and leaves.
