Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hey crafty people! It’s Tasha and I’m back with a video tutorial for WOW Embossing Powder! For this project I’m revisiting some techniques and an embossing powder that I absolutely love.

I’ll be using our Frosted Glass embossing powder. In my opinion, this powder is so slept on and I’m going to show you my favorite way to use it.

Using the Folk Art stencil set, ink blend your pattern onto an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb, using a variety of blue & teal inks.
Line up the matching stamp in your MISTI and stamp in Onyx Black.
Ink blend Root Beer over for a distressed look. Swipe the edges of your panel into the ink cube directly. Gently, softly swipe on the panel with the same ink cube.
Cover your panel in WOW Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Ink, using a brayer and cover with Frosted Glass Embossing Sparkles. Heat from below until all the powder is clear.
Using the large letter dies, cut “hi” from the panel. Also cut from double sided adhesive foam. Layer these and adhere the panel and letters onto an a2 card base.
Stamp a sub sentiment in Onyx Black and emboss in Clear Gloss. Trim into a small strip and add colour to match the panel. Adhere to the card with a strip of foam.
Embellish with clear gems.
