Hello Crafty Friends, and welcome back to another Embossing Elegance card. Today I’m sharing a frosty embossed snowflake card in pretty purples.

I began by die cutting the snowflakes, and then placed the negative cardstock into the MISTI. This allows you to easily place the images, and stamp in shades of purple after placing the die cuts into the open spaces. Next I re-stamped the images with WOW! Embossing Ink, and heat embossed with Pure Platinum and Disco Ball.

I created the background by first stamping the snowflakes in embossing ink, and heat embossed in Opaque Bright White. Then I ink blended over the embossing in shades of purple, and gently buffed the ink from the snowflakes. I finished the background by dribbling and lifting the droplets to add interest.

I created the sentiment by stamping with embossing ink, and heat embossed Metallic Platinum powder. Finally, I heat embossed the scallop frame die cut in Disco Ball powder, and finished with gems.

What do you think? Aren’t those frosty snowflakes so pretty? Thanks so much for joining me today. Love and crafty hugs!
Erin
