Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hello everyone, it’s Emilie here. Today I have a background I’m wanting to share with you all. This one is a Halloween background with fab foil. I am using the new Metal Marmalade fab foil with one of the fab foilers. Along with some embossing powders which work great with the background too.

I started by choosing the splatter Fab Foilers background from the set Background Art, to me it looks like bubbles bubbling from a cauldron. I laid Metal Marmalade Fab Foil over the top and ran it through my Minc machine. Next I coloured in the background with a dark and light green ink. I ink-blended the two colours together using a blending brush which gave a smooth finish and a Halloween Vibe.
As I was finished with the background I moved onto the die cuts. For the witch I did two die cuts, one out from a sheet of, WOW! Superior Smooth White Card and a second one from black card. I added embossing ink to the white die cut and sprinkled over Asphalt embossing powder which gave it a great texture and a little touch of sparkle. The black die cut I used as a shadow by gluing the embossed die cut on top and shifting it slightly more over to the right.
For the mouse that the witch is holding, I die cut out from WOW! Card too, and embossed it with the embossing powder Concrete. The word die I again did two die cuts, each from a sheet of white and black card. On the white die cut I inked it up with embossing ink and sprinkled over Sparkling Sunset embossing powder, which works great with the background. I again created a shadow with the black die cut like I did for the witch. I raised the die cuts up from the background with some sticky foam squares.
