In today’s blog post we’re looking at the Gold and Silver hot foil bundles to make some super quick but stunning foil heavy Christmas cards! Step By Step Tutorial
- I made a few cards in this video, but let’s walk through the silver cards! Take a 10 x 13 cm piece of silver pearl card and another of white card.
- Use the Gloss Silver Foil and an overall hot foil design to add your foiled impression to your pearl card. You’ll also want a smaller design to add a little background interest to the upper two thirds of your portrait white panel too.
- While you’re foiling, foil some Christmas sentiments as well, Simon Hurley’s Sentiments are fab for this as they come with coordinating dies too! And they’re a one and done type format so you actually get 5 sentiments.
- Die-cut your foiled silver panel with a large tree die, cutting it from the centre so you get a topper for one card and the aperture for another.
- Place your tree and one of the sentiments onto the white foiled panel, and voila a super simple foil on foil on foil Christmas card.
- For the second card, place the aperture panel onto another panel of white card and add a foiled sentiment, and hey presto a second super simple foiled card. Watch the video to see the variations I did for the gold cards!
