Memory Keeping Art Journaling

Hello Lovelies! It’s Aditi here and I’m back with another Off The Page Mixed Media Project for you’ll! Today we are creating a simple journal page in the style of memory keeping. I was inspired by the recent IG Hop Proud to be proud of me hosted by our Jo (@joannalaverty). I decided to use my own photo and document my feelings and thoughts. This is part of my new journal classes, and I’m sharing with you’ll the first page.

I had a few florals that I had coloured with Altenew Artist Markers in a whimsical style. I wanted to use these on my pages, and that determined my colour palette- Teal, Purple and Gold. I used the Watercolor Stripes stencil and ink blended some inks. Over that I add embossing ink and used Primary Soft Aqua and Grape Fizz to create a soft textured background. I stamped and embossed foliage elements with Ebony for contrast. I embossed the alphabets with Polished Gold Super Fine to add meaning to the page.
