Shake, Shake, MilkShake!

Hello crafty friends! Peggy here with already my last blog post as a creative guest for WOW embossing!

Let me show you how I made this card!  

1. I started with a white standard size card base. I die cut a pink checkered design from the Studio Light Creative Craftlab ‘Donuts for You’ patterned paper block. You can use any patterned paper you like of course! I used the largest die in the Mod Heart Creative Cuts by Mama Elephant.
2. I cut the slightly smaller wonky rectangle from that same set from some cardstock fit for ink blending. I used some purple masking tape to mask off a ‘floor’ for my mason jar and kitty to stand on.
3. For the floor I used Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Tea Dye and splattered it with some white and gold paint. For the blue background, I used Distress Oxide ink in Salvaged Patina and Salty Ocean. I splattered with some white and metallic blue paint and used the Lawn Fawn bubble stencil and some white pigment ink to create bubbles for the background. 
4. Then it was time to create my shaker. I used the Mama Elephant Shaker Jar Creative Cuts for this. I ink blended the jar, straw and strawberry lemonade with some Salvaged Patina, Lumberjack Plaid and Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide respectively.
5. I filled my shaker with the gorgeous Cotton Candy Sparkles from WOW (Inspired by Catherine Pooler).
6. I coloured the lid of the mason jar with copic markers.
7. Then it was time for my stamped images. I stamped my images with Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink from the Mama Elephant stamp sets Lucky Cat and Boxed Drinks. I coloured everything with my copic markers and added some white gel pen accents.
8. Lastly, I die cut the sentiment from the Mama Elephant Banner Sentiments Creative Cuts. I adhere everything with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape.

Seriously, how gorgeous are those sparkles in that jar!?
