Mixed Media Vintage Tag - WOW Embossing Powder

Hello Lovelies! It’s Aditi here and I’m back with another Off The Page Mixed Media Project for you’ll! Today we are creating a mixed media style vintage, grungy, steampunk Tag

Here’s a slideshow of the Tag:

I’m showcasing a simple way of using stamps and embossing powder to build layers that give the tag a grungy look. Such background work well for cards, journal pages and any project really. The new release Trio comes with great Embossing Powders to achieve this look. I begin by stamping a larger stamp on the background and embossing that with Opaque bright white. This creates a great resist effect. I spray with Lindy’s MoonShadow mists to tint the tag. And then stamps several stamps and emboss them with a variety of powders. I used the same stamp to stamp with black ink as well. To complete the tag, I’ve used some resin elements from my stash coloured with waxes, and a quote.
