Hello Everyone! I hope you are well and have had some crafty time to yourself lately. Today I’m sharing an elegant, non-traditional colors holiday card.
How pretty is this WOW! embossed card featuring the new On the Lake and With an Olive embossing powders by Catherine Pooler? I love how pretty these colors coordinate.
I used WOW! Disco Ball embossing powder for the die cut background, and adhered to the card base. Then I stamped, embossed the images, and heat set with the new powders.
Next I die cut the new “grateful” sentiment, and heat embossed the shadow die cut with Polished Metallic Silver. Then I used Disco Ball for the smaller sentiment, glued them together, and added foam tape to the back for dimension before adhering to the card.
Finally, I adhered all of the flowers and foliage (some with foam tape for added dimension), and glued a few matte half-round beads for extra bling.
