Hi all, welcome to my blog post where I showcase the very NEW Pastel Pearl Trio from today’s (February) release. To make today’s card creation I first die cut from a Hero Arts cover die to create a stencil. With Catherine Pooler Inks I ink blended through the stencil to a white card stock panel. As the ink was still wet I sprinkled the Hint of Blue embossing powder. This accentuated and added a beautiful pearlescent touch to the ink-blended background. I trimmed the panel down to size leaving an approximate 1/8 “border around a side folding card base.
For the large sentiment, I die-cut the Big Hugs word die 3 x times with the top layer being a double-sided adhesive sheet. With a strong double-sided adhesive sheet, I am not only able to die-cut intricate and sentiment designs but I am also able to peel the top stick layer off and sprinkle the Sparkling Sugar Sparkles. This adds quite a bit of a sparkling, iridescent snowy type feel for the sentiment.
