Hey friends….it’s Michelle back with a simple project putting the spotlight on WOW’s Fab Foils and Fab Foilers. These are really fun products to use that give you that gorgeous foiled finish, but with the easy use of a laminator or a Minc machine. We all love the look of foiling and these definitely deliver! Let’s get started and dive into some Peek A Boo Foiling with Fab Foilers.
Peek A Boo Foiling with Fab Foilers.
- Turn on your laminator or Minc machine and allow it to fully heat up.
- Diecut the letters to form your chosen word from black cardstock cut to 4×5.25″. Use a ruler to make sure that they are straight. Be sure to keep the small inards from the diecut letters. These will be placed back in later.
- Chose one of the patterns from the Fab Foilers – Background Art pack. Cut a piece of Deepest, Darkest Crimson Fab Foil to fit the background.
- Place your foil on the printed design, coloured foil side up. Run through your heated machine and allow to cool once done.
- Foil a sentiment from Sweet Sentiment Fab Foilers, using the same foil as the background.
- Pop up your black diecut cardstock over the foiled piece, using foam tape. Add to a black A2 cardbase.
- Add your small sub-sentiment on the lower right hand side of the diecut word.
- Add a few flat back gems to finish off your card.
And that’s it! Using the Fab Foilers and Fab foils is so easy and all you need a simple household electronic appliance that you may already have. I love the look of the foiled background peeking through the word Hello, almost as if it is saying hello too!
