Hi Everyone, and welcome back to another Embossing Elegance project. Today I decided to switch it up, and create something other than a card. So I’ve got a fun treat box for you today, and it is a shaker too!
How cute is this cupcake shaker treat box? I began by die cutting all of the components. Then I embossed the bottom of the cupcake and Make a Wish sentiment die cuts with WOW! Embossing Ink, and then heat set the new Violetera embossing powder.
Next I die cut Scor Tape Sheets for the top of the cupcake to adhere the new Catherine Pooler Cotton Candy Sparkles. I added a double layer of foam strips around the cupcake, taped an acetate window to the back of the embossed and sparkled cupcake, and added Cotton Candy Sparkles before adhering everything for the shaker.
I embossed the sentiment shadow die cut and the candle, and heat set Disco Ball embossing powder. Then I embossed the flame with the new Polished Gold Super Fine embossing powder.
Finally, I added the shaker cupcake to the treat box, adhered the candle, and glued a few sequins to the cupcake. What do you think? So cute! Thanks so much for joining me today. You can find a short process reel on Instagram today. Love and crafty hugs!
