Inspiration, texture, and sparkle – all of it came together in my brand-new shimmering tags!

Dimensional embellishments, a mix of embossing techniques, and WOW! glitter brought a luxurious touch and a sense of creative freedom.
These tags are a true celebration of elegance, imagination, and shine – all wrapped into one sparkling creation!

Shining Tags with Mix Embossing Powders and Sparkles

А тепер покровий план створення цих тегів:

1. Для початку я вирізала форму тегів з кишеньками ножами від Studio Light з твердого чорного дизайнерського кардстоку, а також відразу основу із дизайнерського скрап паперу від Сraft O’Clock.
2. Наступним кроком було – покриття скрап паперу прозорим гессом для захисту і подальшої роботи з ним.
3. Далі я нанесла текстурну пасту через трафарет і посипала відразу її пудрою Ray of Sunshine і лише після цього просушувала феном.
4. Наступним моїм кроком було змішування пудри і блискіток для досягнення необхідного мені ефекту блиску у всьому, тож я змішувала Opaque Bright White Regular і Red Earth Sparkles. Після змішування я покривала фоновий чіпборд цим міксом і неповторний ефект було досягнуто.
5. Після цього я вирішила добавити до своїх тегів вирубку з білого кардстоку міні гілочки від Altenew і для цього я використовувала пудру Fern Forest, яка просто таки ідеально підходить під зелені відтінки скрапової колекції.
6. І головним елементом у моїй роботі якраз таки виступають блискітки, тож чіпборд гілочки я зробила саме за допомогою Green Earth Sparkles які я посипала саме на клей скотч для ідеального склеювання.
7. І в кінці я таки ще вирішила добавити саме зеленого відтінку на свій сяючий фон і тим самим добавити ще текстурі своїй роботі. Для цього я використала традиційний фоновий штамп точки і посипала його пудрою.
8. Далі я вже складала свою композицію використовуючи більші елементи внизу, а менші більше догори і складаючи композиціїі на різних тегах я намагалась дотримуватись хаотичного положення композиції. Ну і звісно ж кінцевим кроком у моїй роботі було добавлення арт стоунів, паєток і мінімально добавити блискітки для поєднання все в одну картинку!

English Translation:

Here is my step-by-step plan:

1. To start, I used tag dies with pockets from Studio Light to cut the base shapes out of sturdy black designer cardstock. I also prepared the background layers right away, using beautiful scrapbook paper from Craft O’Clock.
2. The next step was to prime the paper with clear gesso to protect the surface and prepare it for further mixed media work.
3. Then I applied texture paste through a stencil and sprinkled it with Ray of Sunshine embossing powder. Only after that did I heat-set the design with a heat gun, locking in the dimension and shimmer.
4. My next step was all about sparkle! I created a custom glitter mix by combining Opaque Bright White Regular powder and Red Earth Sparkles to get the exact shine I wanted. I used this blend to cover the background chipboard, and the result was simply magical!
5. After that, I added die-cut mini branches from white cardstock using Altenew dies. I embossed them with Fern Forest powder, which matched the green tones of the collection perfectly.
6. The true highlight of this project is, of course, the sparkle! For the chipboard branches, I used Green Earth Sparkles, applying them over adhesive tape to achieve that flawless glittery finish.
7. To bring even more depth and interest to my background, I decided to add a touch of green and extra texture. I stamped a classic dotted background pattern and embossed it with powder to enhance the layered look.
8. Finally, I built up the composition – placing larger elements toward the bottom and smaller ones on top, maintaining a playful, chaotic balance across the different tags. And of course, to finish everything off, I added art stones, sequins, and just a touch more sparkle to bring the whole piece together into a cohesive, glowing design!
