Time to Celebrate with Some Sparkle

Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hey WOW! friends….it’s Michelle here veering away from my usual colour combinations this week, to feature one of the new releases that is full of gorgeous sparkle. It is definitely time to celebrate with some sparkle, because you always need some sparkle.

Time to Celebrate with Sparkle

  1. Cut a piece of white cardstock to 3.75″x5″ and brush the top of it with glue using a wide flat paintbrush. Do not cover it completely and be sure to kind of trail off 3/4 of the way down.
  2. Quickly cover the glue with the Sugar Sparkle glitter before it dries. Tap off any excess glitter and put back in the jar.
  3. Stamp the 3 balloons from an Alex Syberia stamp set on vellum with the clear ultra slow drying embossing ink pad, sprinkle with Ebony Fine embossing powder and heat set, being careful to move the heat around continuously, so as to minimize any warping that may occur on the vellum. Cut out the balloons. Die cut the balloon strings from black cardstock or glossy black cardstock.
  4. Stamp and heat emboss the sentiments from the same stamp set using Ebony Fine Embossing powder and diecut out.
  5. Adhere all to the sparkly background and add to an A2 cardbase.

I absolutely love this new WOW! Embossing and Catherine Pooler Sparkle…..and boy does it sparkle! I hope that I have helped to inspire you in some small way to get out your sparkle and why not make a fabulous background that brings all the sparkle! Thank you so much for stopping by today and I wish you all the most wonderful and colourful day!

Until next time, Michelle 🙂

Michelle Burnier

Hello…..my name is Michelle and I’m a Canadian girl living in the beautiful countryside of Switzerland with my Swiss husband and 2 cats. I love all things crafty, shiny and glittery! Besides my love for papercrafting, I also enjoy crocheting and making felt flowers.

My papercrafting journey began about 20 years ago when I walked into my little local stamp and scrapbooking store to make a scrapbook album for my parents’ 20th wedding anniversary. I eventually moved on to cardmaking and haven’t looked back since.
