Hi everyone! It’s Laura on the WOW Embossing channel today with a fun video tutorial for you showing you how you can use your layering stencils with your embossing powders!
Use your embossing powders with layering stencils!
I made this cared using layering stencils and embossing powders to create a really pretty background that holds its own on a card!
- Cut a panel of white card to 6 x 6 inches. Then place your first stencil over the top and hold in place with magnets or washi tape. Use a blending brush to add embossing ink through the stencil and then remove the stencil and pour Lavender Fields embossing powder over the top. Catch the excess powder to put it back into the pot and then heat set the first layer.
- For the second stencil repeat the same process as above and this time use Blackberry embossing powder.
- For the third stencil use Laguna embossing powder and for the fourth stencil use Newport. Remember to heat set each layer before moving onto the next.
- Trim the panel down to size – 5.5 inches squared and cut a black mat layer which is slightly larger than 5.5. inches.
- Add some ribbon and tag with a sentiment on and then attach the layers together and stick it to a 6 x 6 inch card base.
