Hi there! Melissa here and today I’m sharing a Valentine card that uses gorgeous Sparkles glitter and Cantaloupe embossing powder. Let’s get started!
With Love and Hugs, Shimmer and Shine!
This card was so much fun to create and I love the background that shines with Oh Dorothy! Sparkles glitter. Using embossing powder with stencils is one of my most favorite ways to use both stencils and powder.
- After stenciling my roses to create my background, I sponged on a bit of glue and then coated it with WOW! Oh Dorothy! Sparkles glitter so that it would adhere directly to the rose petals and add a lovely, textural feel and look to my flowers.
- I then rubbed my die cut, center heart, across the surface of my WOW! Clear Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Pad and coated it thoroughly.
- Next, I coated the heart with the gorgeous WOW! Cantaloupe Embossing Powder, from the Fruit & Nut Dabbled Effects collection. This looks so warm and rich once heated up with my WOW! Dual Speed Heat Tool!
