Hello everyone, Emilie here. Have you ever wondered what to do with your WOW fab foil scraps that you may have used with your WOW fab foilers. Today I share with you a way I used mine to create this fun, shiny, multi-coloured foiled background. Let’s begin.
WOW FAB FOIL SCRAPS
To make my WOW fab foil scraps stick to my cardstock I used repositionable adhesive spray. You can choose as many coloured scraps as you like. I used three colours for mine, Pink, Blush and Spearmint.
- Here are 3 steps I used;
- 1. Spray cardstock with adhesive spray and allow to go tacky.
- 2. Add part of your fab foil scraps to the cardstock
- 3. Press and rub the foil to make sure it adheres then lift off. Repeat in different areas of your cardstock.
For all of your other colours just repeat the 3 steps. Overlap your colours to help build up your background. This step is a trust the process moment, so just have fun whilst doing so.
when your happy with how your background looks, allow time for the adhesive to dry.
Once mine was dry, I decided to use a background stamp with WOWs embossing ink and heat emboss over the foil with Ebony super fine embossing powder. I then die cut out the word hello from white and black cardstock. I added Ebony embossing powder to the black one to make it shiny and match the background. I off set the white hello and glued it to the black hello. Finishing off by raising up the hello with foam squares and adhering it to the background to give some added dimension.
