Hello everyone, It’s Emilie here. Today I am using pattern art- WOW! Fab Foilers and the new Peruvian Gold Fab Foil, to create a background that is full of celebration.
WOW! Fab Foilers And The New Peruvian Gold Fab Foil.
- I began by choosing the star design from the pattern art-fab foilers and laid the Peruvian Gold foil over the top, width ways so that i could get an idea of how much foil i needed to cut so that it could cover the whole design.
- I cut two pieces of foil and laid them both colour side up onto the star design before heating up my Minc machine. You can also use a laminator.
- Once my machine was ready I was able to run the foil and design through to create a foiled background.
- I let the foil cool down before peeling it away from the design and unveiling these beautiful Peruvian Gold colour foiled stars.
- Next I decided to ink blend over the top of the background with red, yellow and blue ink to create a rainbow of colour, and glued it to a card base.
- I used a cutting die to cut three different sized stars , 1 large, 2 medium and 3 small, from WOW! Superior Smooth Cardstock, and used black archival ink to stamp the sentiment and cluster of stars.
- Lastly I added Clear Hologram Sparkle embossing powder to the large and 2 medium stars and gold embossing powder to the 3 small stars before raising up the large star with sticky foam squares and gluing down the other sized stars.
