I am in love with 3D embossing folders so of course, I had to experiment with ways to use my embossing powders on these amazing products. Today, I have 2 Halloween cards for you. We will look at 2 different ways to use your embossing powder on these 3D folders. All the details are in the YouTube video, so make sure to check it out!

Let’s start with the Happy Halloween Card. I started with some bright ink blending in green, teal and blue to create a focal point for the card. Next, I placed this panel in an embossing folder and ran it through my die cutting machine. To add the embossing, I used the Wow! Embossing Pen to trace the pattern pushed into the cardstock by the embossing folder.

I added Polished Silver embossing powder to the wet ink and heated it to create this beautiful silver web!
Last, I added some sparkling spiders and sentiment to compliment this adorable web!
For the 2nd card, I started with another ink blended panel. Then I added antistatic powder to the entire panel. Before putting the panel and embossing folder through the die cutting machine, I added Wow! Embossing Ink to the raised area on the embossing folder.

After removing the panel, I added Black Glint embossing powder and heated. This powder gives a black and silver glittery finish which is perfect for the spiderweb!
