Today I’m sharing a colourful mixed media birthday card created using the WOW! Quad Citrus Embossing Powders inspired by Seth Apter. This playful design focuses on bold colour, layered circular elements and expressive texture, allowing the mixed media powders to really shine across the background. This project fits perfectly within our Mixed Media Spotlight, which brings together a variety of creative approaches and techniques using mixed media embossing powders. In this post, I’ll talk you through how I built the vibrant background, incorporated multiple colours from the Quad Citrus set, and finished the card with sparkling floral details for extra dimension and shine.
