Countdown to Christmas Day 7 - Easy Shaker Card

Hello Friends, and welcome back to Day 7 of the Countdown to Christmas reels featuring our favorite WOW! Embossing products and some of our industry friends!

Today I’m sharing a simple shaker card that is sure to make the recipient smile, and make your crafty time easy! I began by stamping the background with WOW! Embossing ink, and heat set Halo Embossing Powder for a subtle shimmer.

Then I die cut the Effortless Artistry Paper wreath from Crafty Meraki. I love that the die is one single piece, and cuts everything out at once! Next, I ran the sentiments through the mini Minc machine in the carrier folder with gold foil.

I created a shaker with the wreath by first adding 1/8” Scor Tape on the back, cut an acetate sheet to fit the window, and adhered with the tape. Next, I added foam tape on the back of the wreath, and made sure that there were no gaps between the pieces.

After I adhered the embossed background panel to the card base, I added Flamingo WOW! Sparkles to the center of the card, and adhered the wreath over it and centered.

I finished the card by popping the sentiments up with foam tape, and added a few gold flat-backed beads. Ta-dah! What do you think? So easy, but very pretty! Don’t you think?
