We’re so excited to be joined by our fabulous Design Team & Guest Designers today to celebrate the release of our brand-new designer collection: Ethereal Meadows, inspired by the incredible Brennan Keane!
This 4-piece embossing powder release is inspired by the soft, “quiet awakening” of the natural world—capturing the hazy glow of a spring morning and the delicate textures of a meadow in bloom. Whether you’re a mixed media artist, a cardmaker, or just love a touch of ethereal shine, this collection is a total dream to work with. To be honest, the way these powders catch the light is something you really have to see in action!
It’s Tasha, and I’m so excited to share my inspiration with this beautiful release! I’m using Buttercup Blossom, Speckled Sky and Wisteria Wonder today, and I love how my project turned out! You’ll see inspiration using all four new powders across today’s hops both here and on YouTube.

My Inspiration – Step by Step
- Attach an a2 panel of white cardstock to layer 1 of the Postage Colouring Stencil fr.Waffle Flower and apply It’s a Boy Catherine Pooler ink using a domestic foam ink blending tool. Apply more ink in places for a more dynamic background. Remove stencil 1 and position stencil 2, this time inking only round the outside of the panel to finish the border pattern. (Use a paper pounder to apply a darker layer of ink). Set aside and allow to dry before moving onto step 2.
- Stamp several pieces from the Oversized Postage stamp set from Waffle Flower in Veraacone Onyx Black ink. Then stamp 2x more in Silver Metallic ink from Catherine Pooler. Set aside to fully dry.
- Apply double sided adhesive onto WOW cardstock and die cut using 3 of the smaller postage dies from the a2 Postage Frame die set from Waffle Flower. (Repeat to have 2 of each shape.)
- Heat emboss one of each shape with Buttercup Blossom, Speckled Sky and Wisteria Wonder then all 3 of the second set with Polished Silver. Once cooled, adhere the Silver die cuts behind the others, with a slight offset to give a drop shadow effect.
- Die cut your background panel with the a2 Postage Collage die and use a paper trimmer to cut apart each of the 6 stamps. Glue down the outer frame onto an a2 card base or panel and adhere each of the stamps back in place. Use liquid adhesive for 3 of them and foam adhesive fore the other 3 to give the background some dimension and interest.
- Trim a sentiment from our Sweet Sentiments Fab Foilers and adhere this, along with the 3 postage stamps onto your card background. (Use a mix of liquid and foam adhesive again depending on where you are placing your elements.)
