Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hey crafty friends, how are you? In this instalment of Exploring Embossing, I’m playing with chunky glitter for the first time! The recently released Super Powerful Glitter is so *insanely* sparkly, that subtle just wasn’t going to cut it for this card… go big, or go home, right?
So, I decided to use the Sparkles to make an entire card background. I cut adhesive sheet down to A2 size, then added the Sparkles over the top. I then used the release paper over the top of the glitter, to help press the glitter into the page.
I peeled the release paper off the reverse and added the glittery sheet to an A2 card base. I then die cut three of the Simon Says Stamp Snowflake frame die and the additional snowflakes from the set, and stacked them together with liquid glue, then added to my card base.
Finally, I stamped the “Sparkle All the Way” sentiment from Crafter’s Companion on to white card stock (which was obviously perfect for this card!) and added it to the card.
So, this is probably the most extra card I’ve ever made…. but I kinda love it!
