Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hello crafty friends, it’s Rick back with you again for another Craftsman’s Corner with Rick blog post for WOW Embossing! Today I am sharing a fun and actually easy see through WOW Shaker Card.
Fern See Through WOW Shaker Card
I have been seeing the see through shaker cards all over the internet as of late; so I decided to give it a try and it was super easy to create.
- To start off you are going to need some heat resist acetate. Make sure to prep it really well before stamping your background image. I picked the Fern Background Stamp from WOW for this. I stamped the image on the heat resist acetate with WOW Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Ink. I then covered the stamped image with Pumpkin Latte Embossing Powder. I heat set the embossing powder.
- I then cut the panel down to slightly smaller than my card front size. I also cut an additional piece of acetate the same size. I also cut a window opening in my A2 top folding card base, and a green cardstock frame with a window about a 1/4″ smaller than the card front with the same size window I cut into the card base.
- Next I attached the clear acetate to the front of the card base. I then added in some Cotton Candy Sprinkles, Dragon Scale Mixed Media Additives, along with a little of the Harlequin Mixed Media Additives, some Gold Dust Sprinkles, and some of the Silver Glass Mixed Media Additives from the Million Dollar Duo.
- I then added some 1 mm foam strips around the card front frame. And layered my fern heat embossed frame on top of the card front.
- I then took the box from the Happiest Day Stamp Set and stamped it twice onto a scrap of WOW Superior Cardstock. I covered it with some Earthtone Olive Embossing Powder and heat set it. I then stamped one of the sentiments from the set into the box opening and covered them with Pumpkin Latte Embossing Powder. I then heat set both of them and cut them down with just a fine boarder. I attached one to the front of the card and then opened the card and added the other to the same area on the reverse side.
I had so much fun creating today’s card for you. I hope that you give it a try. You can find all the supplies that I used listed below.
