Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hi Everyone! Nolana here with you today to bring another festive fun idea!
I don’t know about you, but I absolutely adore snowflakes! I’m always itching to make a snowflake page for December Daily – however, winter in Australia is from June to August, also spoiler: there isn’t snow in my state lol.
Nevertheless, this was not going to stop my creating a wintry page filled with snowflakes. The past week has been really cold for me, as we just returned from a week in Fiji and I was not too happy to be wearing Ugg boots again, however, I made the best of it and snuggled up with my boots and book! I felt like it was a jumping off point for this page!
So without further ado… Here’s a slideshow of my full sized shaker Scrapbook layout: Layers of Snow!
I’ve always imagined doing a multi layered snowflake page, so I started off with stamping snowflakes and embossing it with a range of white and clear embossing Powders.
I then layered texture paste with a snowflake stencil over it and covered in Clear Sparkle embossing powder.
I die cut a bunch of snowflakes on vellum, as well as confetti, and I used an acetate sheet to create the shaker element.
I then layered my photo, journaling and title on the acetate, but not before making a little vellum envelope, embossed with more snowflakes of course!
