Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!
Hi Crafters, it’s Sarah here from Sarah’s Stampin’ Retreat. Today I’m going to show you how to make a simple card shine with glitter embossing powders! The card is made entirely of things that most of us already have in our stash, but the addition of these gorgeous sparkly embossing powders really adds a special touch.
I’ve used the new Ice Crystal Trio and the Pastiche embossing powders that were released at the end of July for this card. The Ice Crystal trio has huge glitter shards incorporated in the embossing powder, and the Pastiche is a thick, sparkly mixed media embossing powder that gives a gorgeous subtle shimmer with a fine gold glitter running through it. I’ve used these to decorate some basic shapes and used some ribbon from my stash to create a card that is simple but perfect for lovers of a bit of bling!
