Hey crafty people! It’s Tasha and I’m back with a video tutorial for WOW Embossing Powder! Today I’m sharing this bright & cheery card with elements of heat embossing in every step. I just love making Cardmaking WOW!
Making Cardmaking WOW!
- Die cut your florals from white and add colour with your favourite inks. Be mindful of the colours you choose to help balance out your finished arrangements.
- Adhere any open flowers to vellum and fussy cut around them.
- Stamp ‘An Ode to Andy Warhol’ Bold Prints onto an a2 panel of Neenah 80lb with WOW Ultra Slow Drying Embossing Ink. Emboss with Polished Gold.
- Blend colour onto the panel from the bottom left hand corner. Start with a lighter colour, taking it up and out, then deepen the colour in the very bottom. Giving an ombre then goes up and out to white. Wipe off any excess ink from the embossing.
- Stamp and emboss your sentiment in Polished Gold onto a small banner die cut.
- Using the WOW Embossing Pen, add embossed details to the centre of your flowers with Polished Gold.
- Go around the edge of the larger flowers with your Embossing Pen and emboss in Polished Gold.
- Assemble all of your elements on to your background panel, using a mix of liquid and foam adhesive for added dimension.
- Embellish with coloured gems.
