Welcome to WOW! Embossing Powder!

Hi all, Jo here and welcome to my blog post where I have used a Quickie Glue pen to add detail and shine with the FABfoil range. I first started with die-cutting the Parquet cover plate die with lighter tone cardstock and adhered the panels down on a darker tone of cardstock for a subtle tone-on-tone effect.
FABfoil with Glue Pen
I stamped with the Versafine Clair Nocturne ink the Hero Arts Wild Flowers stamp and dies and watercoloured the images in. Once this dried thoroughly, I added some glue pen detail over the floral arrangement and set this aside to dry clear. Once the glue from the glue pen has dried clear this indicates that the glue is now tacky to adhere the FABfoil to. To add the foil I press directly onto the floral image. This technique is great to add some shine and detail to your creations.
Once all the elements are adhered to the card front I finished the card off with Rhinestones. I hope you enjoyed today’s card creations. Check out the close-ups below.
